New Update on VoIPYourLife

Well – we didn’t have service again today.  This time it seems that the DHCP on my router gave it a new IP address which was strange because we didn’t have a power outage or anything.  This cause me to be able to make outbound calls but not receive inbound calls.  I called tech support and they told me to reopen certain ports for the adapter which are IP specific.  They called me back a few minutes later and said I should put the adapter in front of the router which would resolve my dhcp/port opening problem.  Seems to have worked like a charm. This would not have worked on the SPA1100 so if you go with them, definitely get the SPA2100 phone adapter.
