Baby Caelynn is finally here

We had an exciting evening Friday evening.  We were scheduled for a c-section on next Tuesday and I was minding my own business at work Friday afternoon.  I got a call from Sheri saying, hmm..  honey I think you should go ahead and come home from work a little early – this was around 4:30.  I drove home and we messed around a little, Sheri called the hospital and in we went.  We met Aunt KK at the hospital entrance to take the kids. 

You know they have these cool monitors in hospitals now where the husband can watch the screen and say – honey – you’re about to have a contraction.  Wives really like that.

 Anyway we labored for a couple of hours and then at 9:52 on 1/12/2007  baby Caelynn Evangeline Carter was born.  She weight 6lbs 3oz and was 18 inches long.  She’s got beautiful blondish brown hair and a great disposition.

Unfortunately, the hospital we’re in doesn’t have a wireless network and I can’t get online with my computer to upload pictures.

 I’ll add some as soon as I can.

Mom and baby are doing great.  We’ll keep you posted.
