Update on VoIPYourLife
I’ve been sharing my experience with my new VoIP phone service. Yesterday, I received an email from customer service asking how things were going since my initial problems. I told them that they were going generally well. The only two complaints from Sheri now were that caller id shows the number and not the name and that the voice mail sequence takes you through an extra key stroke compare to our previous voice mail. She said there system supports either names or numbers and it depends on the provider. Not sure who the provider is, but I did ask – maybe they’ll get back to me. They are going to credit 1/2 month of service to me for my trouble. That seems pretty fair. The service has been working ok since my last post.
Short run
I ran a short run this evening. I’ve been really tired after a crazy week in Ontario California last week. Haven’t gotten much running done. I also have been staying up pretty late playing with movable type. So anyway – I got a good night’s sleep last night and got out on the road this afternoon. Ran a quick 3 miles – I always like to provide proof – here’s the link to the google earth kml file. Felt pretty good. Ready for at least 14 miles tomorrow.
